George Green's is a very unique school with a history of over 160 years. George Green was a successful business man who gave back to his community and we emulate this through extending our practice into our local community and beyond. Staff and students alike are very proud to be part of this learning community. Our specialism is Humanities with ou... r lead subjects being English, Drama and Citizenship, all areas of excellence within the curriculum. The work these departments do both within the school and externally in the community are stunning celebrations of what our students can do. In order to do this we have to be consistent in our approach but be flexible in our delivery. Our Sixth Form have been delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma since September 1828. We believe the ethos of Sharing our Humanity is replicated through our current practice as a Humanities specialist school and our practice as an IB school.
