Geo Visions

Owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon (CTWSRO), the Warm Springs Geo Visions (WSGV) is dedicated to the protection and preservation of cultural resources. Though the WSGV Cultural Resources program was established in 2002 the Cultural Resources Department has been conducting work on behalf of the CT... WSRO since 1998. Through the unique relationship between the CTWSRO and federal, state, and private entities the WSGV has had the opportunity to develop relationships that would have otherwise been unavailable to a newly formed privately owned company. The WSGV has a reputation for maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of cultural resource management. We have performed a variety of projects that represent a vast array of cultural resource investigations for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. WSGV utilizes effective communication tools, technical expertise, and creative solutions in the management of cultural resource in a way that limits impediments to progress. WSGV has completed more than 120 cultural resource projects since the company was established in 2002. These projects encompass a breadth of cultural resource disciplines: cultural resource management, archaeology, construction monitoring, archaeological monitoring, and ethnography. Most of the projects have been done to meet the compliance regulations of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for local, federal or state agency reviews for timber harvest, watershed rehabilitation, and energy projects.
