General Cereals is a national owned company founded in 1994, with the objective of manufacturing cereals for breakfast with the last and cutting-edge technology available. The plant premises, located in Jáuregui between Lujan and Mercedes in the Province of Buenos Aires - upon a 35-hectare ground area, was handed in as a turnkey operation by the fi... rm Buhler (Swiss/German origin), providing training for personnel in the correct use and maintenance of the plant, products' development, together with the incorporation of a staff with large expertise in food industry. The company has one of the most advanced technologies as regards the manufacturing of extrusion products, with a large productive capacity and high quality standards, with a great versatility for new products' development. Technology in plant allows to offer products with varied combinations with proteins, minerals, vitamins and high fiber contents. General Cereals relies on his Administrative Office and Sales, integrated by a highly specializing group; allowing providing to the chains of the most important supermarkets of the country and supplying to the principal industries manufacturers of products with cereals. His Plant located in a strategic point of the country, which allows him to come with his products to all the consumers of the Argentina. General Cereals since 1996 supplies a large customers' portfolio, not only with its finished products but also with cereals in the form of raw materials for massive products such as cereal bars, chocolate crisps products, chocolate coated cereals, aired chocolates, chocolate sweets, alfajores, ice creams and a large variety of products in which our products are used.
