We have 17 years of experience preparing taxes. Over the years, the tax code has been refined, adjusted, changed, and added to. Pair that with the tax laws surrounding it and seemingly constant changes being made to reform them, it can be difficult to even know where to begin! Im Kellie Gardner, and I have dedicated my career to understanding U.S.... Taxes. In this capacity I can share my passion. I believe that in the U.S., our taxes should be simple enough that unless you have a really complicated business return, you could quickly and easily prepare your own. In an ideal world, people would come to me, a tax professional, simply because they dont want to spend the time not because they dont know what to do. Taxes shouldnt be this hard! Perhaps someday we will get there, but nobody is holding their breath. Instead, the code, and laws surrounding it, continues to get more complicated. This has created the opportunity for me to use my years of banking experience and passion for working with numbers to help you navigate this complicated mess that comes up once a year. In the end you can rest assured that your taxes have been done the right way and all available deductions and credits have been applied. More than 16 years ago, I was a stay-at-home mom that wanted to be able to give back part time. The kids were in school and there was a break until they came home that needed to be filled with productivity. Helping others prepare their taxes, it turns out, was the perfect fit. A few years ago, with the kids grown and having families of their own, I looked hard at the industry and realized there was a lot of corporate oversight that would not allow me put as much energy into your taxes as I wanted to. So, Gardner Tax Solutions was born as a means to help even more people in the way that was perfect for them.
