Gameday Depot

Gameday Depot was launched as a new venture of Rocky Top Publishing, LLC ("RTP," which was esblished in 2007) just prior to the 2010 college football season. RTP had been publishing online at Rocky Top Talk, since before it was formed as an LLC. In 2007, I formed the entity and started editing and contributing to a variety of college football prese... ason magazines, most notably the Tennessee Football preaseason magazine known as Rocky Top Tennessee. In 2010, Gameday Depot launched with a somewhat modest offering of Tennessee Volunteer car flags, car magnets, cups and stuff, and we soon thereafter added a bunch of different UT hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, and other apparel. Shortly after that, we added apparel for eight more schools, and after helping several sites in the huge SB Nation network of sports blogs offer big game victory t-shirts to their readers, we decided to -- cue the deep voice and echo effects -- Get Serious. We ordered a massive shipment of apparel and merchandise for nearly 50 schools, I quit my day job as a health care transactional lawyer, and we opened the Kingsport store on September 1, 2011. We hope to provide our customers with products and service that makes them absolutely ecstatic, and so we truly value your feedback. We especially like to hear the positive stuff because it makes our faces look like our logo, but we also appreciate the negative because it helps us to improve.
