Dan Green received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1979 at The University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Land Studies. Mr. Green's experience as an appraiser began in 1978 with G. Pratt Martin and Associates, Inc. in Pensacola, Florida. Wanting to establish his own set of standards in the appraisal business, Dan Green established G. Daniel Green & Associates in 1988. In 1993, Mr. Green received the Appraisal Institute's prestigious MAI (Member, Appraisal Institute) designation as well as the SRA (Senior Residential Appraisal) designation. MAI and SRA designations are indicators of the high level of experience of an appraiser and their level of commitment to continuing education. Every designee is required to adhere to the Appraisal Institute's Code of Professional Ethics and may at anytime undergo a peer review process to ensure these ethics are being upheld.
