Film & Video Extras was established by Roy Elliott in 1991, initially operating on a part-time basis using shared warehouse space. Roy was the sole salesperson, covering all of New South Wales, while his wife Iwonka managed the office as well as the warehouse. One by one all of the Australian states came on-line with agents representing Film & Vide... o Extras, ensuring steady growth over the following years. In 2001, Tracy Pond and Anthony Edwards joined the Company Tracy looking after the administration and Anthony in the capacity of NSW Sales Representative Both Tracy and Anthony remain with us to this day. Following a serious illness in early 2003, Carry Alam joined Roy & Iwonka as a partner, and upon Roys subsequent retirement in 2004 Carry took over sole ownership of the company. Under Carrys guidance, the company has continued to grow. Carry saw the need for keeping the range that Film & Video Extras had become successful with, as well as expanding the range of products we carried. Our Sales team now consists of Anthony Edwards & Kevin Alam. Anthony covers North and Western NSW as well as South Australia and Victoria, while Kevin looks after Southern NSW as well as Sydney Metropolitan. Queensland is represented by our Agent Bryan Fagerlund, and Western Australia is represented by Tony Donnelly. From our beginnings with mostly darkroom, bags and filters, we now have an extensive range of digital accessories, studio and lighting equipment. We still maintain the majority of our original product range and we are continually sourcing new products to remain a leader in this very competitive market.
