About Furnitalia
Furnitalia was breathed into life by husband and wife team Dmitriy and Ella Aks in February, of 2004. Furnitalia has been a vision of theirs since they moved to the United States from Russia well over 10 years ago. The idea sparked, when they found themselves frustrated with the lack of fine contemporary Italian furniture showrooms in Northern CA. They decided to take matters in their own hands by purchasing the furniture, direct from Italy. Within no time, the Aks's home became a mini showroom. With an influx of requests from friends, they began to open their home to people searching for high end contemporary design and began reselling the furniture. Believing, Sacramento has a large contemporary following, they were determined to bring contemporary Italian furniture to their home town.
