Functional Physical Therapy

We strive to achieve the most beneficial interventions during each one-on-one treatment session and between sessions in order to allow you to function at your highest level. Whether you are a weekend warrior, or a professional athlete, your body should function and operate in a similar pain-free fashion. Each appointment is 55 minutes and is spent... entirely with your physical therapist. Because the complete appointment time will be spent with your physical therapist, there will be no list of exercises to do on your own, and you will not be repeating your home exercise program each session in the clinic. By only treating one patient at a time, we are able to do physical therapy in a more personalized and effective manner.The additional time allows us to more frequently perform standardized assessments, including the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), to assess progression. Other assessments used include the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Screen, Redcord Movement Screen (RMS), and individualized functional movements (squats, lunges, stairs, carries, etc.). Being able to re-assess these movements regularly following interventions ensures that treatments are not only pain-free but also truly functional.
