Fs Feminista is as an intersectional feminist organization centered around the sexual and reproductive rights and needs of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. Led and governed by the South, Fs Feminista works with a growing ecosystem of organizations in 35+ countries to provide access to sexual and reproductive health care and to advocate for... the sexual and reproductive justice of women, girls, and gender-diverse people to be protected and respected in every dimension of their lives. The company recognize that the ability to make free and informed choices about sexual and reproductive health, including to access to safe and legal abortion, is central to their life plans and to achieving sexual and reproductive justice. In 2020, Fs Feminista undertook a bold process to redefine itself as an anti-racist, anti-ableist, decolonial, and intersectional feminist organization. This transformation laid the foundations for the formation in June 2021 of a new feminist alliance that brings together the work of the International Womens Health Coalition (IWHC) and the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) under the leadership of Fs Feminista. Fs Feminista is integrating the expertise of each organization, bringing together sexual and reproductive health care and education, advocacy for gender and reproductive justice, and trust-based grantmaking to grassroots activists and organizations.
