After becoming frustrated with extended schedules, founder Dean Mullets dream of owning his own door plant became a reality with Fryburg Door. Six years later, an addition was incorporated that brought the production facility to 12,000 square feet. In 1997, a 72-acre farm, located just four miles down the road, was purchased for the future site of Fryburg Door. In the spring of 2002, after outgrowing its manufacturing space, ground was broken on the farm for the new Fryburg Door plant. It was completed by the year end. A recent addition nearly doubled the Fryburg Door state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to over 100,000 square feet.
