Frontier Technical Associates, Inc. (FTA) was established in 1976 and qualifies as a small business under US Government definition. It is a privately-owned corporation with personal involvement of the officers in all projects. FTA has extensive experience in providing environmental consulting to industrial clients in a wide variety of areas. These... areas include: groundwater well installation, groundwater monitoring and assessment of pollutant migration, ground and surface water quality studies, installation of well networks, air, water and solid waste sampling and analysis, permit support for industrial clients and regulatory authorities, treatability studies and development of standards. Our staff has over 65 years of combined experience. Areas of expertise include: project management, client services, permit applications and negotiations, sampling, engineering and design. Our equipment includes pH meters, specific conductivity meters, dissolved oxygen meters, turbidimeters, redox meters, isco samplers for composite samples, peristaltic low-flow pumps to minimize sample turbidity in groundwater wells, high volume pumps for larger groundwater wells and a variety of specialty equipment. Frontier Technical Associates, Inc. has been a certified laboratory for field analyses under the New York State Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) - NY Lab #10475 since 1984. We participate in all NYS ELAP proficiency rounds for Non-Potable and Potable water for field parameters. Copies of our current laboratory certificates are available.
