Lessons are tailored to meet the needs of all learners and are engaging, fast paced and fun. We encourage debate, discussion and questions for our teachers. Students are taught skills and strategies to help them become effective, independent, resilient learners which prepares them for the different stages of school life and beyond. The design of th... e curriculum provides complete continuity of learning for students from Year 9-13. Learners are given appropriate and specialist advice and support in making the transition between Key Stages 3-5, preparing them fully for higher education opportunities or embracing the world of work. We offer an outstanding range of subjects at both key stage four and five, the breadth of subjects offered ensures that our young people maximise their social, moral, spiritual and cultural development. Our House system organises our young people into four learning and support communities; each led by an experienced Head of House (HoH) who ensure everyone settles into college life well and has the support and care they deserve. Our welfare team work closely with students and families to provide swift and effective intervention when needed. We pride ourselves on the additional opportunities we provide for students; learning inside the classroom is the key to success but we also believe that so much more can be learnt beyond the classroom.
