Freedom Airsports has been in business since 2004, and is wholly owned by Peter Holloway, an aviation enthusiast with 35 years of hang gliding experience. Peter is a qualified hang gliding instructor as well as a Tandem hang gliding instructor. He is able to teach ground towing and aerotowing skills. Peter holds a CASA private pilots licence and a... recreational Aviation pilots certificate. He also holds a hang glider tugmaster endorsement enabling him to legally fly a Dragonfly hang glider towplane. In 2004 Peter took over Tim Osbourn's Aeros distributorship and later added to it Wills Wing and Moyes, two of the oldest and most established hang glider manufacturers in the world. Peter's aim is to promote and grow the sport of hang gliding in Australia and to provide expert instruction, advice and service to the hang gliding community. Peter loves to talk hang gliding and flying and welcomes inquiries from novices through to experts looking to fly some of the best hang gliders available.
