"We are the third generation of ice cream makers," said Giulio, who runs the business with his brother Renaldo. "We have ice cream in our blood and are dedicated to continuing the award-winning tradition of our family." The business was set up by Giulio's grandfather when he emigrated from Italy in 1920. It has gone a long way from his Italian cafe in Garnant to a national supplier to major supermarkets such as Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose, as well as Holland & Barratt. "My grandfather, whose name, Francesco, is honoured in the name of our business - Frank's, won his first award in the Olympia Dairy Show in 1932. We are extremely proud of this heritage."
