The petrol station was operated by G. Ashley Hunter from the early 1960's until its closure. Ashley's skills as an artist and the need for frames to compliment his artwork led to the purchase of simple framing equipment. Gradually people started to request frames for their own artwork and mementos and Frame Art was born! In 1986, following six year... s working within the business, Ashley's son, Phil, purchased the business and Frame Art continues in his ownership to the present day. The business has expanded steadily over the years, building up an extensive client base.
