MDEC has been involved in several underground projects since 1988 and continues to provide engineering management services. Our underground construction specialties include tunnel and shaft excavation and support. These projects utilize both conventional drill and blast and mechanical excavation techniques depending on site specific geologic conditions. Our surface expertise includes pattern drilling and blasting operations to remove bulk material for quarries and similar surface projects.
