Meet Our Staff: Robert Stephens, CPA Bob Stephens graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. He subsequently received a MBA from Calif... ornia State College in San Bernardino in 1991. Bob has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1980. Bob worked for a regional CPA firm for seven years before becoming the Controller for a regional home builder in 1985. In 1988, Bob and Woody formed Fox & Stephens, CPA's. Bob served on the Board of the Greater Inland Chapter of the Community Association Institute and served as treasurer from 1990 to 1997 and again from 2002 to 2008. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs since 1988. Bob's specialties include personal and corporate taxation, homeowners associations, construction accounting, professional firms, nonprofit entities forensic accounting, and has served as the inspector of elections for numerous homeowners associations. Bob has also served on the boards of various nonprofit charities in the Inland Empire including the Riverside Astronomical Society, the Riverside Telescope Makers Conference, and the Society for Astronomical Sciences.
