Foundry Social

Ive lived in Northwest Louisiana, particularly the Shreveport/Bossier City area, for the last three years and intermittently for two years before that while balancing college with my wifes medical career at Willis Knighton. I decided to form Foundry Social as a way to continue working around my unpredictable schedule with the need to take care of o... ur first child. I began my career in marketing when I helped a marketing company map metadata to choose which billboards they would buy ad space on. I had experience with social marketing from my days of managing my college radio station, so I also began taking on social media work for their existing customers. After some positive experiences, I was asked to offer classes for their clients as a Solution Provider for a partner company called Constant Contact. I accepted and after receiving overwhelming positive experiences from seminar attendees, was asked to become an Authorized Local Expert. When I decided to become the primary caretaker for my children, I couldnt work a normal job schedule, and thats when Foundry Social was born. When talking about why I do what I do, I always talk about my time with SCORE. SCORE and Constant Contact are strategic partners, so I was asked to help the Louisiana chapters with their social media. We saw people every week from every walk of life opening companies and nonprofits right here in our town. What gives me my fire today is helping people in terrible circumstances find a way to a better life through entrepreneurship. My ideal client is positive and early in their business lifecycle. I bring real, actionable, useful and usable information and solutions to my presentation. I enjoy working with companies just starting out and all it takes is the willingness for them to try.
