Foundations Parties

This building was originally built as a youth gymnastics center in 2004 for the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta Central Campus. In 2011, Foundations School took over the lease and did a remodel of the interior to add the gym floor, a rock wall, and a HD big screen and sound system, in addition to the existing inground trampoline, foam pit, and spring... floor. Over the years, many people have asked us to offer this amazing space as a children's birthday party venue since the gym is so kid friendly and so much fun. Owner Lynn McKinnon created Foundations for the Future Athletics LLC (doing business as Foundations Parties, because our original name is a mouthful!) and opened the doors in June 2016 to offer youth gymnastics classes to Foundations School students in the afternoons, and operating as a children's birthday party venue on the weekends to anyone that wants to book one, even if they are not attending Foundations School. I've had several children's birthday parties for my own kids at Foundations Parties, and what I love best is the ability to customize the party to be whatever your child loves best. You are not roped into a set theme or set activity. Yes, we have gymnastics areas, but you can also break out a kid's volley ball net, or a disc golf set if you want, or hire a superhero to come visit the party and make that the focus. Want a reptile company to be the focus of your party that works great too! My second favorite thing about having a children's birthday party here is that you can have control over the music and volume! This is a pet peeve of mine, that at most party places, the music is so loud (and often quite obnoxious) that it's impossible to actually talk to the people you've invited without having to shout and you end up leaving with a headache. So at Foundations Parties, you can pick your own music (or none at all) and play it at a volume that is comfortable for you.
