In 2012, Foundations Christian Preschool was opened in Horseheads, NY offering an affordable, part-time, Christian schooling experience for 3-4 year olds. The following year we expanded - BIG TIME! Foundations Christian school now offers grades PreK - 6th. Our school has a core group of God-loving teachers who provide instruction for all the main s... ubjects. We also have support staff who supplement instruction according to their gifts and talents (Ex. Art, Music, Technology, Gym, etc) & we strongly encourage parental involvement! The curriculum we use is a combination of our favorite pieces from various homeschooling packages. The bulk of what we use is Bob Jones University Press and Abeka among other proven educational programs. No single curriculum includes what is best for every learner so we do our best to find the strengths and weaknesses of our students and tailor their education to best suit their needs.
