Forward Energy Sdn Bhd ("FESB"), incorporated in 2003, is founded by Dato' Azmi Abdullah (pictured), who started his career in the electricity supply industry at the Generations and Projects Department of the National Electricity Board (now known as Tenaga Nasional Berhad) in different capacities (as a Technician and later an Engineer) from 1980 to... 1992. He was with various Independent Power Producers ("IPP") from 1992 to the present, in different roles during the development phase until completion. While serving the IPPs, he negotiates various agreements for the IPPs namely the Power Purchase Agreement, Fuel Supply Agreement, Engineering Procurement Construction Contracts and Financing Documentation. Equipped with experiences he acquired in the Government and the Corporate Sector, he formed his own companies in 2003 to develop power projects on an IPP or Build & Transfer basis and promoting green technologies in the energy sector. He is currently spearheading his own companies as the Executive Director of Forward Energy Sdn Bhd and Managing Director of A&Z Power Consult Sdn Bhd.
