Forward Edge

I learned about how they seek to leverage their gifts to touch the lives of at-risk children, their families, and the communities in which they live. They say it this way, "When God prompts the company to do something and the company respond with faith and obedience, even without knowing what lies ahead, the company is stepping onto life's forward... edge"...just as Joshua did with the children of Israel at the edge of the River Jordan (Joshua 3:8). This ultimately drew me to the mission of Forward Edge. If you could have dinner with any person in history (excluding Jesus) who would it be and why? I would have dinner with my great grandfather. He was a preacher and passed down a spiritual legacy that continues in me and my family. I've heard so much about him through my father and my late grandfather. I imagine sitting on the porch with him in the hot South after a good southern meal talking about how he has seen God at work in his time.
