Founded in 1997, Fortitude Brands L.L.C. designs, produces and distributes delicious, ready-made natural and organic food products that cater to gluten-free food consumers. When the team at Fortitude Brands began learning about the gluten-free properties of Yucca, (an ingredient in their original line of snack crackers) the company forged aheada renewed Fortitude with a creative new concept for developing gourmet quality, great-tasting gluten-free foods. Seeing Yucca in another light, the company took the plant's natural gluten-free properties and developed an entirely new product portfolio using a neutral Yucca-flour base as a tool for reinventing Fortitude Brands. Realizing the seemingly endless possibilities and valuable health benefits of this single ingredient brought a refreshing focus to Fortitude. Of the few wheat-free products stocked on grocery shelves Fortitude found most far from pleasant tasting.
