Flydubai, formally known as Dubai Aviation Corporation, is a government-owned airline headquartered at Dubai International Airport, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet of 97 aircraft, comprising Boeing 737 MAX 8, Boeing 737 MAX 9, and Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 models, and serves a network of more than 135 destinations across 58 countries spanning Africa, Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus, the GCC, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia. A notable aspect of flydubai's growth has been its focus on opening previously underserved markets, having launched more than 100 new routes that did not previously have direct air links to Dubai. The airline primarily operates from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, with select flights departing from Terminal 3.
