About Fluid Power Service
Fluid Power Service Corporation was formed in August of 1981 as a hydraulic component reconditioning facility. There were originally two full time employees and the company was originally located in Sardinia, NY. In 1991 the company had grown to approximately 12 employees and moved to Orchard Park NY. At this time, in addition to the reconditioning business, Fluid Power started performing field service, designing and building hydraulic power units for a wide variety of users including the U. S. Navy. Some of these included the installation of the equipment and also the electrical or electronic controls as required. In 1998 Fluid Power purchased AAA Hydraulic Cylinder Service on Walden Ave. in Lancaster and combined the two businesses at that location.
