Flex-Delivery

We, Tim & Bea are a family living in Hoeilaart with our 2 children Leander and Enya, who did the startup Flex-Delivery aside our current job. We like to go shopping at the local retailers, since they have excellent food quality and a wide variety of products. Due to our full-time jobs leaving us with limited free time, we find it hard to visit the... local retailers during the shop opening hours. This formed the basic idea to start Flex-Delivery. With our startup initiative, want to give all Hoeilaart citizens the opportunity to enjoy the excellent food quality and freshness of the products from the local retailers. We deliver products from the bakery, butcher, fruits & vegetables retailers, fish shop and Bio product retailer. With our webshop & home delivery service, we want people to be able to spend more quality time with their family, friends and enjoy more leisure time. We also want to help less mobile Hoeilaart citizens, to allow them to continue to buy the excellent food quality products of the local retailers, from which they are already buying their groceries for a longer time! Currently we are working together with the following 6 retailers: Bakery Linda Vandervaeren, Bakery Royal from Hoeilaart, Dairy shop 't Smulhuisje and Butcher Van Pee from Hoeilaart, Fruit & vegetables Fresh2Go from Overijse, Fish shop Heylen - de Nul (Friday morning market Hoeilaart), Bio products from Belgian local producers, which we deliver by cooperating with eFarmz. Why do we deliver the groceries at home with electrical cargo bikes? In 2015, we have bought an electrical cargo bike with child seats, so we could make family bicycle trips with our little children. We also use the bike on a daily basis to bring the children to school. We have experienced that since we bought the electrical cargo bike, we leave the car more often at home for any local trips we have to make.
