We realize that firefighting is not for everyone, but believe that volunteering can be. There is plenty of work to be done on or behind the scenes including just running the business of providing emergency services. A strong Fire Department needs individuals to fight fires, to support the firefighters (exterior firefighters), to handle the aerial and pumper trucks, to supply water, and to ensure public safety.
