Firetherm are a true manufacturer of Fire-stopping products, this gives us total control and allows us to assure our clients that the tested product is the product they receive. We manufacturer 95% of our products from raw materials, employ our own chemists and retain our own formulations. Our R&D department are continually looking for innovations... and new ways to ensure all of our products comply with current health and safety requirements. We are inspected quarterly by Warrington Fire Research; this enables us to hold our BS EN ISO 9001 certificate and ensures that everything we make as identical to the tested product. UK Test houses are invited into our premises to take product direct from manufacture, directly to their testing facilities. Products such as Intucompound, Intubatt and Intumastic are fully tested to the latest BS-EN 1366 standards. We have our own in house technical department, offering detailed drawings, site inspection and engineering judgments based on many years of experience. All other Firetherm products are equally and stringently tested to the correct standard. We have an optical tracer technology called Optifire within all of our coated products and mastics. This enables us to ensure the specified product Firetherm product is the product that has been installed and not an inferior derivative product without any certification.
