Firetech

Greg Schell is the voice and face of Firetech. He is a second generation technician, salesman and inspector in the fireplace industry. Greg is currently one of the highest accredited W.E.T.T. certified technician and chimney sweeps in Ontario. Greg started installation and services at the age of twelve. Fireplaces were a major part of his growing y... ears. After a few years as a diesel mechanic, and after the birth of his first child, he decided to go back to work for his parents in their fireplace store in Woodstock. Over the next couple of years, Greg gained all the necessary certification for wood, gas and pellet products. He established his own business Firetech in the year 2004. In 2006, Greg and his wife Christine purchased a fireplace showroom in St. Thomas. It was renovated and added to the existing store. After a few years, we moved the store to a larger location in St Thomas. Realizing there was a major lack of qualified fireplace people in Oxford County, Greg and Christine decided it was time to go back home to Woodstock in 2015. Firetech has now one of the largest fireplace showrooms in Oxford County.
