With over 40 successful client campaigns produced, 100 events and 50 new brands designed, our purpose remains as clear today as it did in 2012. During this time, Firecracker founders Claire and Nicola launched 2 new ventures in 2019 to add to the Firecracker group of companies. The dynamic duo is also the team behind international business network, Africa Scotland Business Network and community empowerment platform Illumi.Nation An original firecracker, Nicola is our resident branding and marketing expert. Nicola is a graduate of English Literature at University of Cape Town before she left African shores to broaden her horizons. She gained an exceptional track record in London, Sydney and back home in corporate South Africa. Nicolas husband, Ben, is an accomplished Creative Director. They have two children, Ella and Sam. As it stands, Sam wants to be a fireman. Nicknamed Firecracker by a former boss, Claire is a proud Scot who has embraced South African life and business for 15 years. A honours graduate of University of Strathclydes Business School, she carries 14 years experience in event design and production, leading Firecrackers event team and supplier network with professionalism and boundless energy.
