About Fintor
Founded in 2021, The Fintor story begins when Farshad and Masoud met through a mutual friend and became roommates soon after. Masoud who received his Ph.D. in engineering from UC San Diego and Farshad who received his bachelors in finance from University of San Diego shared a passion for technology, real estate, and the financial markets. Previously, they built a venture-backed proptech company selling software and hardware to real estate development firms. During that time they constantly discussed building wealth through real estate, but knew that traditional real estate investing was too expensive, complicated, and a poor experience for the investor thus the idea for Fintor was born.Explore more
