We sell Vegetarian friendly items such as Pineapple Fritters and even made sure at least one of our curry sauces is veggie friendly. We filter our oil daily and change it frequently to ensure the highest quality end product and only use the finest ingredients to bring you a fantastic meal. Fish is skinless and de-boned and cut every day on premises... and we scout out the best in-season spuds to chip fresh every morning. Finnegans have always been customer and community focused and love to help support local charities, schools and businesses relevant to each shop. Our main charity has always been The Fishermen's Mission in which every penny of money raised goes to the bereaved families of those who have lost their lives at sea in the often-dangerous job of fishing. Sarah, alongside two of our managers, Tony and Andrew, ran the Cardiff Marathon and combined with other long-term fundraising have secured over £16,000 in the last ten years for the charity. We are proud to support other organisations such as the RNLI, LATCH, Bridgend Food Bank, Marie Curie, Samaritans, Poppy Appeal and Porthcawl Male Voice Choir and always donate towards each areas local school projects and fundraisers. Huw and his son Jack have even taken part in a gruelling 500-mile cycling trip from Porthcawl to Paris in aid of Prostate Cancer and Velindre.
