About Finmark
Finmark was established by Allan Finlayson and Petter Carlmark in March 1977. Petter and Allan still own and operate the business. The name Finmark comes from the combination of their surnames. The business was started with exporting opals and importing fine giftware from Scandinavia. Over the next 25 years the imported products have included Italian Stationery and Glasware. These days Finmark have a large range of giftware designed by Australian artist Mignon Clift and also continue to import other items. Products now include pewterware, pens, manicure sets, counter rolls, ribbons, bags and a large range of diverse stationery. The other side of Finmark is their range of decoupage and scrapbooking papers. Since 1998 Finmark has produced decoupage papers printed in Adelaide, South Australia.
