We are based in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim. Fine Edge was developed from customer demand for the need for a quality sharpening service for scissors and clipper blades (hairdressing/barbering, pet grooming, equestrian, farming, veterinarian), as well as garden tools, woodworking, forestry blades/chains and chefs knives. After careful investigation, a... significant investment was made to purchase the best equipment on the market, to enable us to provide the best possible results for our customers. From a time served, precision engineering background, it was a relatively easy transition from the industrial sharpening provided for many years by our sister company, Cairn machinery & Grinding, to the high precision requirements of the scissor and clipper blade industry. We quickly realised that there was also a requirement for a range of good value, quality scissors. We trialled a number of manufacturers before deciding on the range of Kanpeki hairdressing scissors and Razorline pet grooming and hairdressing scissors. Both these extensive ranges offer wide and varied styles to suit virtually every requirement. We are confident we will have a scissor to suit even the most discerning customer and with our 14 day quibble free exchange policy, be able to satisfy your requirements. With the encouragement of our principles, we have introduced our own select Fine Edge branded scissors and plan to extend on that range in the future. We have now added the Exclusive top quality range of Alpha clipper blades and to supplement them, H42 blade wash and The MAC blade cleaning aid. We look forward to being of service to you.Read More
