Finchley Garden Centre was formed in 1920 in Fursby Avenue, Finchley, before moving to its present site in 1933. Originally just a nursery growing crops for wholesale markets, over the last 30 years we have built up into a very successful garden centre. We are set in a lovely countryside location and still believe plants are a garden centres main b... usiness, and as such we specialise in bedding plants. However, we also stock a vast selection of quality garden furniture, pots, barbecues and other garden related products. Still run by members of the founders family, Finchley Nurseries is a unique garden centre. Pay us a visit and see for yourself! At the Regents Park Flower Show 2000, Finchley Nurseries scooped first and second prize in their Hanging Basket Competition which was open to all garden centres over London. In 2004, we celebrated our 75th anniversary and now look forward to the next 75 years! Our popular "Cut your own Dahlia" field is available from approximately August until the frosts come. Christmas time at Finchley Nurseries is worth a visit, when the greenhouse is transformed with a display of top quality Christmas plants and trees.
