FieldPost

FieldPost was initially developed as a solution to our own in-house e-mail management problems. E-mail has always been a critical component to our business, and there was always a need to quickly make changes to our mailserver. However, we had a problem. How do we easily maintain our own mail; add, modify, and delete mailboxes, set up and configure... aliases and autoresponders, all without having to pull our technical staff off of other projects? The answer to this problem was to create a system whereby we could manage the mail for any given domain directly from a web-based interface. Just as soon as we had completed and implemented it for ourselves did we have many of our other colleagues began asking if they could also use this service. And thus, in February of 2018, FieldPost was born. A field post was actually a node and rest station for the riders and horses of the Pony Express. There, mail was routed to its proper destination and riders and horses rested. Together, the collection of field posts helped make up the back-bone of the postal system of its time. It was with this analogy in mind that we named our e-mail solution, FieldPost; a system for routing and managing mail, that was essential a distributed system that could be accessed from anywhere, allowing you the control of your e-mail that you need.
