FENAKA is an established business connected with the hearts of many Maldivians. Despite the short history of the company, we are sincerely proud to have achieved notable milestones, which shall be written in golden letters in the Maldivian history. We have been successful in bringing an end to the hardships many Maldivians have endured due to lack... of electricity. We are also embarking on oper- ating the water supply and sewerage in many island communities to improve the livelihood of the people. We firmly believe in sustain- ability and affordability of our services. We shall endeavor to invest in cutting edge technology, which would advance the quality of our services and enable us to achieve cost savings through improvements in efficiency. We firmly believe that providing the best utilities services would create a positive impact to our society. Moreover, although we currently depend on the govern- ment for subsidies, within a span of five years, we aim to eliminate our excessive dependability on government and transform FENAKA into a profitable corporation. We shall also continue to pioneer in making positive contributions to the society through our CSR ini- tiatives. With our operations extended from north to south of the country, we hold a responsibility in reducing the existing inequali- ties between different island communities. We shall work towards creating equity and equality by abstaining from discriminations and regarding each and every island community as our own.
