Fellowship Baptist Church

Fellowship Baptist Church is a local community of followers of Jesus Christ, made up of people from diverse backgrounds, yet unified in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel itself is what birthed the Church and continues to shape our community and our individual lives. By Gods grace, were prayerfully seeking to be a local church primarily express... ed in community rather than church as an event. Were convinced the gospel is for all of life, and the church is much more than gathering on Sunday. It is a saved and sent people. The church is a family of families united in the gospel for the cause of Christ. In short we seek to be a diverse community of disciple making disciples that bring glory to God and joy to others through the gospel. In addition to this vision to be a diverse community of disciple making disciples that brings glory to God and joy to others through the gospel, were pursuing two long term initiatives. First, were seeking to expand the gospel influence through the establishing/ planting of new churches in the most needed areas in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and beyond. Second, were also seeking to partner with global theological training initiatives for church leaders in areas where training and resources are scarce and greatly needed.
