Feldenkrais Learning Center

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of the Feldenkrais Learning Center on August 31, 2021. It has been our privilege to be a haven of learning for our community of faculty and students over the last 34 years on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The COVID-19 pandemic has, of course, had the biggest impact on our inability to continu... e "business as usual." We are deeply grateful to all of the skilled Feldenkrais Practitioners® who have crossed our threshold over all of these many years, sharing their own learning, experience, and insight with their students and providing those students with the tools to improve their movement and their lives. What began as a cooperative of only four Practitioners who had just graduated from the 1987 Toronto Training grew into a thriving hub of new and experienced Practitioners year after year, with as many as ten or eleven Practitioners teaching ATM classes, workshops, and private FI lessons. We also thank our students. Your commitment to the FLC, our teachers, and the Feldenkrais Method® allowed us to become "a little oasis in the city" for those seeking a safe place of self-awareness and self-improvement. Even though our classroom is closed, each of our Practitioners will continue to offer his or her own classes and private lessons. Their online zoom or in-person class schedules and contact information are listed below.
