FCMB Group has reported that the NPL ratio for its Consumer Finance business closed at 7.4% for H1 2026, largely driven by temporary payroll deduction suspensions across Niger, Kano, and Osun states due to tax issues, with the underlying portfolio NPL ratio at approximately 4.2% when adjusting for these exceptional exposures, below the full year 2025 NPL of 7.3% and within the regulatory threshold of 10%.
