FC Brandywine

FC Brandywine, affiliated with Brandywine Youth Club ("BYC"), was founded in 2014 through the merger of two local travel soccer programs, BYC Soccer and Garnet Valley Soccer Club, with the objective of promoting and developing soccer players from our local community and beyond. The combined resources of both clubs have resulted in significant impro... vements in coaching and parent education, player development, training, field allocation and team formation. FC Brandywine supports travel teams from U9 to U16 and designed a U8 Academy program for the young player interested in more advanced skills training. FC Brandywine strives to provide a positive soccer experience for all participants, from the recreational, with BYC Soccer, to the more advance travel player. Traditionally, following tryouts, teams will begin training one time per week in May and June with team camps in July. Depending on the need of the team, practices continue in July with twice or three times a week. The primary soccer season runs from August to November with tryouts for the travel program taking place in March to April and Spring programs for the interested player or team consist of indoor training, futsal and indoor leagues, Local PAGS and DELCO Spring Leagues and PA State Cup tournaments.
