Founded in 2010, Fasteners By Design is an ISO 9001:2015-certified, Elmhurst, IL-based distributor of standard and custom industrial hardware. We offer cold-headed, machined, stamped, and fabricated components along with secondary processing such as kitting, patching, plating, and packaging. We embrace our medium size in the industry. Our employees... are accountable and empowered to make quick decisions. We like to say that we offer solutions, not part numbers. When you come to us with a custom part, we try to understand the application and propose modifications for a standard, if possible. Customers appreciate this expertise and openness to a more practical solution. When a custom part is needed, Fasteners By Design encourages customers to take advantage of larger price breaks by holding inventory for up to twelve months. We can make releases as small as needed and usually ship same day. We stock custom parts in Illinois but rely on our master distributors to drop ship most standards. These master distributors stock tens of thousands of items and have warehouses throughout the United States. They can generally process orders up to 5pm local time.Read More
