Fair Trade Decor is a family owned business dedicated to furthering the mission of Fair Trade through the sale of unique, eco-friendly, handcrafted products in Del Mar, CA. When you choose Fair Trade items, you are endorsing an economic system that provides sustainable and legitimate means for people around the world to lift themselves out of pover... ty in proper working conditions. Owners Betsy and Jude Paganelli started the business in 2011 out of a passion for both decorative arts and human rights. After two years selling in farmer's markets, they found their current location at 1412 Camino Del Mar, between 14th and 15th streets in downtown Del Mar, just north of San Diego. We are proud to say that Fair Trade Decor is the first fully committed Fair Trade store in the San Diego area. Both Fair Trade Decor and all of our products are certified Fair Trade by the Fair Trade Federation, a US based organization of retailers, wholesalers, non profits and artisan groups. In addition to offering artisanal home decor and personal accessories from over 40 countries around the world, the store also hosts free weekly events to bring the San Diego community together, including regular drum circles and meditation sessions.
