Having been previously involved in the commercial property market, both Will and Matthew were seeking a venture in the retail sector - Self Storage was the obvious answer as it is a business where land is, effectively, retailed! In addition Self Storage is a new and emergi... ng market and the opportunity to be part of such a business, new to the UK, and to enjoy the challenges of pushing forward a product new to many people, has definitive benefits. EXTRASPACE has been established and branded with one sole aim - growth and profitability. We expect the company to grow substantially over the next 5 - 10 years. Our Coventry site has been financed solely by ourselves and is designed to illustrate the confidence we have in our skill as operators and business managers, as well as define the risk level involved in the Self Storage business.
