Expert Carpet Cleaning was originally founded in 1954 by Jim McDannel Sr. as a full service janitorial company. It was eventually separated into two companies when it became apparent that carpet cleaning was where Jim Sr. wanted to concentrate his knowledge, expertise and resources. The janitorial services company was sold. This allowed for better... equipment, experience and knowledge in floor cleaning. Jim McDannel Jr. grew up in the business and remembers a time when his contribution was sitting on the floor machine to add weight. Throughout the years young Jim learned more and more from his dad and many other mentors in the business. It wasn't long before he began taking industry classes and obtaining certifications, earning his first carpet cleaning technician certification in 1986 at the ripe old age of 16. In 1997, Jim Sr. finally retired and Jim Jr. took over where he left off. It is today still a family run business servicing everything from residential homes to vast multi-building campuses.
