This is the first national accommodation PPP project to be approved by the National Treasury's PPP Unit under the Public Finance Management Act. 1 of 1999 (PFMA). Of significant value for money, was also the imme... diate construction of an additional office building as an integral part of the campus so as to meet any future expansion that the dti or Government might have. Rainprop (Pty) Ltd is the concessionaire company. The entity has complied with the design, construct and finance phase and is currently in the management phase. The Experience Delivery Company (Pty) Ltd (EDC) provides the overall facilities management services to the dti campus on behalf of Rainprop. The management of EDC is committed to provide quality and superior facility management services to the dti to ensure that their staff find the campus a viable environment to work at for their maximum output. We are committed to maintain the Quality Management System that meets the ISO 9001:2008 requirements as certified by SABS. We are further committed to the implementation of any other regulations and by laws governing our industry. We are committed to have focus through Business and Quality Objectives that must be reviewed at regular intervals at Management review meetings and board meetings for their continued relevance. At regular intervals we will have internal and external audits on our business processes, SLS, SLA and Quality Plans and its quality systems to ensure continuous improvement. Involvement of staff and their competency is therefore key and will be encouraged at all times and accordingly resources will be made available in pursue of holistic Total Quality Management Systems compliance.
