The introduction of Eximguaranty Company (Ghana) Ltd. (Exim) onto the Ghanaian financial services market was meant to facilitate the building of linkages between Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the formal financial institutions. The key objective was to contribute to enhancing the capacity of such SMEs through the modernisation of their ope... rations and expansion of their production capacities and also facilitate the flow of credit from the Banks. The products and services that Exim offers, enables it to play the role of a catalyst by assisting these financial institutions working for the development of the private sector through ensuring a minimum of security from the SMEs. The Company's operations are geared towards customer and client satisfaction. The association between Exim and the financial institutions helps to improve the selection, assessment and supervision of beneficiary clients, thereby promoting the growth and development of SMEs in Ghana as a whole.
