About Excelda Manufacturing
Excelda Manufacturing was founded in 1930. Excelda Manufacturing started as a dream in the 1920's when automobiles were just beginning to be lacquered. Fred G. Coxen spent many evenings in his home developing the perfect auto polish cleaner. By 1930, Fred felt he had succeeded and Excelda Manufacturing was founded in a small facility in Ferndale, Michigan. As business expanded, Excelda needed to expand and moved into a larger building in the area in 1934.Explore more
