About EveryPeer

EveryPeer allows you to join a private network of EveryPeer nodes. Once on EveryPeer you can connect your own server up and share information, services and files on EveryPeer for fun or profit. EveryPeer boxes automatically mesh to all other EveryPeer nodes on the network. The traffic flows directly from your EveryPeer node to the nodes IP space that you are attempting to communicate with. All data is encrypted end-to-end and data tries to take the optimal path at all times. Each EveryPeer box has a DHCP server running on ports 1 and 2. Each box has its own unique range of IPs that it will hand out to any device that his connected to it. The total number of usable IP Addresses by default is 16. More can be added by contacting the EveryPeer support team. If you need to connect more than two physical devices you can hook a switch or router to the ports. By default your EveryPeer Node will have a DNS entry to its first usable IP address on the EveryPeer network. Example is node0.EveryPeerRead more

Example format would be. www.node0.everypeer = 172.16.0.1 The EveryPeer network does not have Internet per se but there are ways to get your servers connected to EveryPeer on the Internet. The easiest way is to contact EveryPeer support and purchase a public static IP address and have them route it to the EveryPeer address you want to have access to the Internet. What is nice about this option is that no matter where you plug your EveryPeer device into the Internet it will retain the same public static IP address. The second of many ways is to connect a Squid Proxy box to a node and give other EveryPeer operators that you want to allow access to the Internet via your node your EveryPeer IP, Port, User Name and Password. Some users do this to allow users in other countries to appear to be connected to the Internet via the United States. With EveryPeer Peering with ...Read More
